INT. HOTEL ROOM - NIGHT
Phil and Jenny are tied to a chair, blindfolded in the hotel
room they've been in before. They're unconscious but Jenny is
slowly waking up. She's disorientated because of the
blindfold.
JENNY
Where are we?
She tries to look around even though she knows she can't see
anything.
JENNY
Phil, are you there?
Phil slowly starts to wake himself.
PHIL
Yes, I'm here.
JENNY
Where are we?
PHIL
How should I know? I'm blindfolded!
They all of a sudden hear a deep voice, as if someone is
trying to morph their voice.
VOICE (O.S.)
You do not need to know where you
are.
JENNY
Who are you?
VOICE (O.S.)
You do not need to know who I am.
JENNY
So what do we need to know?
VOICE (O.S.)
That your activities have come to
an end.
PHIL
What are you going to do to us?
VOICE (O.S.)
You will find out soon enough.
JENNY
Who are you?
VOICE (O.S.)
You do not need to know.
There is a short silence but then suddenly the voice begins
to smirk and to laugh. It's Selena Gomez.
SELENA (O.S.)
Sorry, I really can't do this.
Selena and Demi step in front of the camera.
DEMI
You call yourself an actress; we
were just starting to have fun.
JENNY
Selena? Demi?
Selena rips off the blind fold off Jenny's eyes.
SELENA
Surprise!
DEMI
You're forgetting our camera woman,
Emily there.
Emily turns around the camera and points it at herself.
EMILY
Hello!
She turns back the camera on the action.
JENNY
Do you know what the penalty is for
kidnapping?
Suddenly Miley Cyrus comes out of the next room.
MILEY
You're not going to tell anyone
about what happened here.
PHIL
Why on earth wouldn't we?
MILEY
We had a look at those videos you
made here. Rather interesting I
must say.
JENNY
We're trying to make a documentary
here.
DEMI
We cannot allow the world to see
what you're making.
SELENA
We wouldn't want the world to know,
now do we?
JENNY
Know what?
MILEY
We have to protect our investments.
JENNY
What investments?
MILEY
Oh you know, power companies, oil
companies, car companies, that sort
of thing. We need to make money you
know.
JENNY
You mean.... I'm actually right?
You are trying to get people to
waste energy?
EMILY
Isn't that a requirement for a
documentary? To be right?
PHIL
In her case being right is a
relative term.
Jenny tries to kick Phil but she can't reach him.
JENNY
Shut up you.
DEMI
Are you trying to say that you
didn't actually know? That you were
only after a story?
Jenny doesn't talk, she tries to evade any stares from the
girls.
MILEY
I guess she didn't actually know.
JENNY
You'll have a hard time proving
that, when people find out I was
right they won't care.
The four girls begin to laugh, Miley turns to Demi and
Selena.
MILEY
She sure is gullible, isn't she?
She can't be that naive, can she?
SELENA
Sure looks like it.
JENNY
What?
MILEY
Someone has to rule the world one
day, the process to achieving that
is a slow one.
DEMI
Whoever controls power controls the
world.
JENNY
Now I'm lost, are you serious?
MILEY
You really thought we were evil
masterminds?
JENNY
Ehm....
MILEY
You try and trick is into saying
things that aren't true just so you
can make that film of yours. You're
willing to believe anything about
us.
JENNY
Oh please, you're used to it. It's
just how the media works and you
know it.
EMILY
You think that justifies it?
MILEY
News flash, it doesn't justify it.
Did you even do any research before
making these statements? Do you
know what Disney policies are?
JENNY
You're celebrities, it's something
you have to learn to live with. I
know you girls are still young but
this is the real world. People
don't always care about the facts.
DEMI
Yes, this is the real world. That's
also why we know that your
journalistic career is over.
JENNY
I don't see how.
SELENA
You're rather clueless, aren't you?
How did they ever let you near a
camera.
EMILY
That could be said for a lot of
people who call themselves
journalists.
DEMI
What do you think Emily is holding
there, there are plenty of people
who would love to see how you work.
JENNY

MILEY
Just like you won't release that
film of yours.
JENNY
Who will stop me and tell this
story?
SELENA
Who would believe you? Being
kidnapped by Miley Cyrus, Demi
Lovato, Emily Osment and Selena
Gomez? Sure, people will believe
that right away.
JENNY
I have a witness.
She waits for Phil to say something but he doesn't. She turns
towards him.
JENNY
Phil?
Phil stars to laugh, he just gets up, he wasn't tied up after
all. He high fives the girls.
JENNY
What on earth?
SELENA
You didn't think we actually
kidnapped you, did you?
She looks at Phil.
JENNY
You drugged me?
PHIL
Just one of your own sleeping pills
actually.
JENNY
You're that desperate to lose your
job?
PHIL
I'd rather lose my job than work
one more day with you. You'd rather
destroy one of these girls just for
the sake of your own success.
MILEY
We're still human you know, even
though we are in the public eye.
JENNY
Just stop complaining, you know
this comes with the territory.
DEMI
Yes we do, doesn't mean we have to
accept it.
JENNY
Don't act like I'm the only one
doing this kind of thing. You can
shut me up but there are plenty of
more people.
SELENA
No, you're not. In your case
however we did get help to stop
you.
Selena turns to Phil.
SELENA
Thank you for that once again.
PHIL
Happy to help.
Emily puts the camera on a tripod, the four girls start to
head for the door.
MILEY
You can keep your tapes, we took
the back ups.
JENNY
Why don't you just take them?
MILEY
Wouldn't be much of a lesson if you
wouldn't be able to reflect back on
it.
The four of them have left, Phil unties Jenny. She gets up
and doesn't talk, she just gets her bag and leaves the room.
Phil walks up to the camera.
PHIL
The end.
(pause)
Not that this is anything anyone
will ever see.
